Help, I'm so confused. My child was just diagnosed with autism and I don't know exactly what my child needs are and who should be providing it?

When your child has initially been diagnosed with autism, it can be a very confusing time. One of the first things you need to do is find out what your state will be provide to you in terms of assistance. Each individual case will be reviewed and early intervention (or your local educational agency) will let you know how many hours they will provide.
